The City of Uvalde Cemetery Operations is a division of the Parks and Recreation Department and operates and maintains two municipal cemeteries: Hillcrest Cemetery and the Uvalde/Catholic Cemetery. Burial plots are not for sale at the Uvalde/Catholic Cemetery and are only available at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Grave Site Ornaments
- Wreaths may be placed on graves five days before and five days after the following events: Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, and All Souls Day.
- Christmas decorations, wreaths, and grave blankets are permitted on graves during the period December 1 through January 20. Grave floral blankets may not be larger than two by three feet.
- Two annual cleanups are done every year; one in the spring and one in the fall. In which all articles are removed and disposed of. Dates vary by year.
- The City of Uvalde is NOT responsible for any missing or stolen articles from gravesites. To report any theft, vandalism, or destruction of property please call the Uvalde Police Department at 830-278-9147.
Please fill out the citizens request form below for any additional articles (i.e. headstones, benches, or trees) wanting to be incorporated at the cemetery. All requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
