The Town Hall was built in the 1920's. It houses the Town of Uvalde City Council administers the Town government. The City Council consists of a mayor and 5 other councilmen. The Town of Uvalde also has a Planning Commission, Zoning and City Master Plan. Uvalde is drawing industry into one of the fastest growing areas in the U.S. Uvalde is informed, supportive and combines its active local leadership, with a region that unites community organizations, regional partners and elected officials.
