8G.      Consider and act on a Resolution appointing election judges and clerks serving for the City of Uvalde General & Special Election to be held on May 10, 2008.

 

8H.      Consider and act on a Resolution Fixing Compensation for Election Judges and Clerks serving for the City of Uvalde General & Special Election to be held May 10, 2008.

 

8I         Consider and act on an initiative petition submitted by Mario Cruz, certified by Audrey M. Garza, City Secretary, to amend Article II, Section 1 (b), (c), (e), and Section 10 Charter of the City of Uvalde establishing election of council members by single member districts beginning after 2009.  

 

8J        Consider and act on Change Order #33 to the HWY 83 Project in the amount of $2,351.79 for the modification of the manhole located off the intersection of Getty and Anglin Street.

 

8K       Consider and act on Change Order #35 to the HWY 83 Project   in the amount of $5,516.89 for the concrete encasement of sewer services and laterals, which have a depth of less than three feet of cover.

 

8L        Consider and act on an Ordinance amend Chapter 2.48, Section 2.48.020 of the City of Uvalde Municipal Code to allow for the appointment of three (3) alternates to the Planning & Zoning Committee to serve three (3) year terms.

The City Council of the City of Uvalde, Texas will convene in executive session in accordance and for the purposes permitted by the Open Meetings Act, Section 551.072 Deliberations about Real Property.
